got 2011 on lock

not to be that bitch who’s got her shit together, but after completely failing the last three years of my life (fuck 2010 the most), i’ve got some good things coming my way.

1. i just got hired somewhere with prime benefits, which is kind of a first. i didn’t think it would happen for me until way down the line, which has been a major self-esteem suck, especially since all my friends in sf are geeky male programmers who make bank and buy me drinks on the regular because i’ve had zero luck with landing livable-wage work. until now, suckaz. miracles do happen!

2. i’m dating a really, really, ridiculously nice guy. he’s kind of awesome. heart-eyes.

3. i cleaned my apartment.

with high hopes, i’m calling 2011 the year i get out of education loan debt. shit has been dragged on long enough, and i’m over it. here’s to continuing to exercise mad budgeting skillz even though i (hopefully) will no longer absolutely need to.
